I really hate the app store on the iPad Unlike the iPhone , you can't search games buy category but rather you are given a very limited choice of a couple of grouped folders that you are made to look through , so many pages , to find something Also , if this wasn't bad enough , you will get ten or so pages into your little search and when you find something that you want to take a closer look at and decide to click on the app you are forced , once done , to hit the back button to carry on your search from way back on page one Why is it taking apple so long to fix this problem with the iPad app store ?
I just go here and use the AppShopper app. Never even bother with the App Store for iPad stuff. Works well enough.
Hmmm... Now where did I see this thread on TA about some dude returning his iPad because this was one of his gripes... Hmmm...
And a million other complaints that could have been plainly seen had said consumer actually researched the product...
How can you plainly see how much the app store sucks on iPad with research? Go post in that thread if you're still hurt.
I meant your other complaints you mentioned in your thread could have been avoided by research. I was being a bit off-topic.
I really hope the app store on iPad gets a revision soon - it really blows. My peeves: - "not interested" button, useless - browsing apps throws user back to beginning of list after examining an app - hilarious feature where ALL apps in "genius" recommendations get 5 star ratings - cannot add apps to personal wishlist from the device (where most of us shop for apps)
Don't even try to act like you know me. Besides, if you were well aware of them, then buying a product when you're already sure you're going to hate it is completely retarded.
Appshopper Yep - I've found it, downloaded, and use it all the time now. But, seriously, Apple couldn't be bothered to implement an app store like this of their own? Lame.
