But just for iPhones? I did some research and the latest numbers I have seen indicate that there have been at least 84 million iPads sold. There are many times my kids would love to have apps that they love on their iPhones available on their iPads. And there are many apps that I would love on my iPad but are iPhone only... I don't have an iPhone. I know the answer must be in the economics, but I wonder how hard / expensive it is to create an iPad version of the same apps or games. I do realize that an app that hasn't sold well for the phone isn't likely to inspire an iPad version, but honestly, even if I had an iPhone, I think the small screen size would keep me from buying many apps. I almost never leave my house without my mini... In fact, I usually have it with me more often than my Droid. I would think that more successful iPhone apps, and to a lesser degree, games, would be converted to iPad apps. I use my mini for business. I can't really see myself using a phone for more than making calls, a contact list, and taking pictures... The screen is just too small for me.
