Hey all, we just wrote a response piece to the Financial Times article highlighting Betfair’s massive 94% growth in bets placed via mobile last year. Our response digs into why it’s taken so long for gambling companies to get into mobile, and whether there’s an opportunity for mobile game makers to get into gambling.

What's your thoughts? Are gambling companies not innovative because they're resting on their laurels, or because people only want to play for real money with games that they are familiar with? Should gaming companies get into gambling if there was a way for them to do so?

Serious question do you do anything here other than pimp your blog?

  3. Yes, I check TouchArcade at least once a week to see what's happening in the iPhone game industry.

Maybe I should get into more discussions? I don't want the perception to be that I'm only here to 'pimp my blog'
