Yeah, but as consolation we can still play cheap iPhone and iPad games. ;-) I voted for the Libetarian candidate, Gary Johnson. Did anyone else here do so as well?
Who was watching FOX when Obama's electoral votes passed 270? http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/249226_3981156134491_1248392502_n.jpg
MSN said it best a couple of days ago: http://news.uk.msn.com/us-elections-2012/entire-planet-supports-obama-except-china/ But on the downside... no Romney is a blow to the world of satire. There's just no fuel with Obama, every time he's mentioned on a satirical TV show all anyone can think of to say is they'd like to drink beer with him.
Thank god for 4 more years. Anybody who couldn't see through Romney's lies is an idiot. I can understand if you are against a 2nd Obama term, what I can't understand is how people outside of the 1% actually voted for Romney.
What people need to understand is that money isn't bad. Just because Romney has more money than people on welfare is no reason to call him evil. If half the people in the projects got a job, this country would a crap ton better off.
My biggest issues with Romney didn't have to do with his money per se, but the fact that he kept going back and forth on issues and changing his positions, seemingly just to get more supporters. Also, social issues are more important IMO than financial problems (which are a big issue too), and Mitt Romney's view points on most social issues weren't forward thinking. Then, when it comes to reducing the debt, he didn't detail his plan, and said he wants to put more money into the military when the military is saying 'uh... we have enough money, cuts should happen'. To be honest, I never really thought Mitt Romney was going to win. It just seemed like too big of a stretch.
I'm glad Obama won, and also glad that Maryland voted for gay marriage/marriage equality. I don't think Obama is perfect, but overall I think he has done well.
