Hey guys, I'm doing a statistics project and I need some unbiased data.
I live in one of these four cities so I figured this would be a better place to ask.

If you follow basketball in the least bit, it would help me out so much if you would vote on the poll above for the NBA team that you think will win the NBA Finals. I'd rather you not vote for the team you just want to win, unless you truly think they will win.

If you feel the need to support your team and prove that they will triumph all others, feel free to comment. I'd love to hear some of you guy's opinions and predictions.

    Thanks!

Heat 4-2 over Mavs in the finals.

Don't like Miami too much, but they have the experience and the players. Chicago is strong, but D. Rose really isn't enough to bring the team through against the Heat. The big three will pull through. In any case, the western finalists this year..yeah, not so much.

Yeah, I can definitely see the Mavs and Heat. It would just kill me though to see 'em lose to the Heat in the Finals again.

I think Miami will take Chicago in 6 and Dallas will take OKC in 7.

i think the Bulls are going to win against either Mavs or Heat. The thing with OKC is that when they have a bad game, they really have a bad game. Durant wont hit 3s, Westbrook fails rushing to the basket and the only real hope is Harden. Either way, whoever wins, i think it's going to be a great finale to a sort-of satisfying season. Lakers were a huge disappointment, btw

Amen to that..didn't think getting sweeped was possible for them. Sigh. Wish Jackson had a better ending to his legendary career, but I guess it's the end of the Lakers' era.

In a sport in which one player can make all the difference, only 5 players play at once, and only 12 players are active on a team, no team should be allowed to have three all-star, 100 million dollar players. There's supposed to be a salary cap in the NBA, but it's a fake cap, not a real one. 20 out of the 30 teams are non-competitive and losing money. Only 8 teams have won a title in 30 years. Parody in the NBA is shot. So-called Larry Bird rights, which allows teams to sign their own players to max money without it counting against the "cap" has ruined the NBA. Also, you can go over the cap and pay a penalty. Going over the cap should never be allowed.

The Heat are a prime example of everything that is wrong in the league. The Heat will win, but then there will be lock-out. just like what happened in the NHL a few years ago, there is a real chance that the entire NBA season will be cancelled next year. The whole thing. If that happens, blame the Heat.

That's a pretty good sum of the NBA. I've never thought about it that way myself, but I'd have to totally agree.

I'd like to see some more people vote! :)

This is also the reason why most people find college basketball so much more appealing than the NBA

Heat. Bulls only have D-rose and with Haslem back....

about blaming the heat. Didn't the celtics do the same thing? Plus they have rondo..... And honestly, don't say they aren't on the same level, because although the heat have a better big three, some of the Celtic's big three is better than bosh, so you would have to count them as *insert what you said*.
And I do believe that Chicago was aiming to get 2 of Miami's big three, which woulda made their own big three.... Knicks have a chance at CP3 next year so there's another one. Lakers have Kobe, Pau, might get Howard/CP3 next year, and bynum, artest, etc. are all decent too. I agree the salary cap thingy is a bit funky, but Heat aren't the only ones taking advantage of it. Blame the heat my A**. nother hater. :p

BTW, I don't even live in florida. :D

+1, we see the rise of a new overpowered team every year. This season is no different.

With the Mavericks taking Game 3 over the Thunder, how do you guys think this series will end?

And with the Bulls and Heat tied at 1-1, how many games do you guys think it'll take for one team to overpower the other and dominate the series?

See? I knew it. The okc sucked this match. Sure, they nearly made a huge comeback, but they were trailing by freaking twenty points. Thats horrible performance for a team thats in the conference finals. The mavs have a good chance of getting to the final match against bulls or heat. I think the bulls will win in game 6 or a possible 7 against the heat, then possibly get the win in the finals at a x<10 lead against the mavs.
