Who bought this week's Premium Trio?

I only bought 2 out of three..KOTOR and war hammer quest...Instead of buying Phoenix wright,I bought Dark Souls for the PC for 15$ which is roughly the same price..

 

Funny, just bought Dark Souls for 360 tonight seeing that it was half off($10).

 

I did, also grabbed Ghost Trick which somehow slipped through my radar and saw it when downloading PW and im having an absolute blast with, of the 3 games of the topic ive played Kotor the most followed by a couple cases of PW. Ive yet to fire up Warhammer yet because im planning to spend some time on it when I do but on getting both the expansion and the extra characters.

What do you mean exactly: "aren't their definitive versions"? Care to elaborate?

 

Pretty much. But it's also missing shadows, you can't mod it, I'm not sure the controls are better than on other platforms and so on. It's still a great game, but if I wanted the best version I'd probably go for PC.

Same with PW, I wasn't too impressed with the port and it's weird iPad support. But as before, great game nonetheless.

 

And is missing the shadow effects that even the original Xbox version of the game had.

We're all spoiled by the amazing Rockstar ports - they not only lowball the price but add retina and updated textures/lighting effects. AND they just updated GTA 3 with retina for the iPads. <3 R*

 

KOTOR is an old game. It's blocky compared to what games like it would look like presently. Dumb question maybe: Can an old game be ported and just simply look sharp on retina?

Well the game might be on sale due to the announcement of dark souls 2 coming later this year..Its a PR thing i guess,trying to hook people to the world and franchise..
