Criteria for selection to include - Objective and mature analysis - Understanding of mobile gaming and market - Good understanding of the game in review - Actually use common sense BEST: SlideToPlay STP gives clear and concise reviews usually with a mature POV and they always demonstrate a good understanding of what is and what is not important to mobile gamers. Their review and rating for games are also pretty consistent across the board. The good points are usually important to mobile game players and they are also usually pretty spot-on with the bad. WORST: IGN Worst iPhone review site by 10,000 miles. The reviewers are snobbish and inject a ton of their personal likes/dislikes into their reviews. If a game used 1 or 2 subpar sounds for example, they will latch onto it like leech and bitch about it in 50 different places in the review. Very sensationalistic, all noise, no substance. The reviewers didn't seem to like their jobs very much at all. Ratings are all over the place. You have obviously lousy games at 6 and obviously fun games at 6 as well. LOL. There is also a very obvious preference towards the "BIG BOYS". They are usually less provocative to big, huge, well-connected publishers. Why? I do not know and can only speculate. **cough** Advertise **cough** ment **cough**. Not everyone can be as objective as arn!
Slide to play is the best IMO. I dislike FingerGaming, not sure why. Maybe it's the inconsistency they've had for a while.

i hate IGN or any major review site because they have NO idea what they're talking about and clearly show favoritism to the $$$ developers.. The best is TA, hands down..
I agree as well. STP is the best and IGN is the worst. I don't really like Appvee either, though I'm not entirely sure why...
I really like appvee because they have video reviews. As a YouTube user, it's a great way to check on new games and such.
I apologize if the powers there be thinks this should be in the lounge. I just thought this is totally game-related and should be under this forum, unless all threads on here must have a game name... Everyone posted their favorite, some forgot to post their most hated. Please do so. TA is a close-second to STP. I just felt STP is better organize and their presentation is very well thought out. IGN... Absolute worst mobile review site this side of the milky way. If i'm the boss of IGN, i'll fire the entire department and rebuild from scratch. Pick anyone up from the streets and they could do a better job
Appvee has concise reviews that are unbiased and do not contain personal opinions in anyway. However, they don't have enough reviews and aren't always up to date with the latest news.
For me it's 148Apps, because they have good writers, honest reviews, price drops, and new apps all in one place. Also I like Appvee, they have a really good site
i have to disagree with you about ign. They don't do a whole lot of iphone reviews, but they pound big publishers for consoles all the time. The two highest games they have rated for iphone are zen bound and rolando, both with a 9.5. While they are both from big publishers (ngmoco and chillingo) they are not from well known developers (hand circus and secret exit) we can all agree they are both great games, with some of the most polish seen in iphone games. They've given plenty of good reviews to other non-big publisher games too- fieldrunners 8.0, geodefense 8.2, reign of swords 8.5, etc. In terms of console games they are one of the only non-biased big review sites. Gamespot is in love wit 360 (ratchet and clank a 7.5, uncharted an 8.0 really?). Ign though remains constant through all systems Mario Galaxy 9.7, Super smash 9.5, Metal gear solid 10 (and deserving of), killzone 2 9.4, Halo 3 9.5, gears of war 2 9.4. And made by two guys world of goo they gave a 9.5. I'm sorry to stray to consoles on an idevice game forum, but they do give good reviews, are not biased, and do know what they're talking about
Sorry, this is about iDevices only. All your console games comments are ignored. The quality of IGN's reviews are abysmal at best. I suspect for most ppl here, it is pretty close to the bottom of the pile. Just ask around.
