Polara is definitely one of the best, along with; Warhammer Quest, Revenge of the Rob-o-Bot, Puzzle Quest 2 & Bastion
I think these are Slide Circus Shardlands. This thread is very informative and enhances my knowledge.
Dream Pixel, Pocket Trains, Krashlander and every minimalistic/simple design that matches ios 7, and all hate to every Icon with borders and small game dev Icons(rovio star, adult swim, etc.) which I think is kinda annoying.
Devil's Attorney - retro douchebaggery in its finest form. No Brakes Valet - Nirvana homage just sums up the irreverence of the game. Threes - simple, charming and stylish, just like the game itself. Slayin' - I'm a sucker for retro after all! Mayday! Deep Space - Ominous and very high quality art style. I'm a bit obsessed with appealing icons; it's something I feel is overlooked a lot even with high budget games. Sad, I know, but I really like just looking at them - a good one can be all it takes to make you want to play it again.
Although I hate the game, Tap Titans has the sleekest/coolest looking icon imo. Always liked the FF/Chronotrigger icons. Clean, simple, great. I abhor the secret of mana icon. Back when I used to JB, I would change that icon to one that looked like the FF icons, with SoM obviously.
Botanicula Goat simulator Duet game Leo's fortune Hitman go Groove coaster Those are just a few of the many pretty icons I see when I turn on my iPad!
Elder sign: Omen http://appshopper.com/games/elder-sign-omens-hd (But I'm not above anything with insanely unreleastic, Gravity and body type defying cleavage)
