Which inexpensive camcorder to get for capturing iDevice gameplay via iMovie?

    So far I've briefly looked at recent portable models from Kodak and Flipcorder Ultra (or Flipcam, something like that), but wanted to ask here in order to get a head-start towards eliminating from consideration any models that are known to have issues with either iMovie or older Macbooks (2ghz Core 2 duo MB with only 1GB ram+iMic usb device).

    HD up to 720p would be a plus, but only if it would not cause framerate problems when capturing itouch/iphone gameplay. Relatively low noise in the audio capture is a priority.

    You really need something that you can manually adjust the focus and exposure, but most importantly, the white balance. Without good white balance control none of the colors are going to look right, whites will look yellowish, blacks will look blueish, etc.

    Way less expensive.
