True, my bike is black and you can still see the mud splashes on the fairing pretty easily. He has a point though, I imagine that white would get pretty grubby quickly.
If you're actually getting mud on it, then yes it will stand out on white cuz of the contrast. But for 'everyday' dirt, dust, grime you get from just driving on paved streets, I think white actually hides the dirtiness better than black.
Well the white would be perfect for the weather right now. We are getting craploads of snow down here in Southern England, lol. A couple days ago I saw some guy skiing down the main road by my house
Drive through snow and it goes black Our car is white, but thanks to the snow the bottom half is now grey.
My bike is staying in the warm, lol. It's a slippy as hell out there because we had a load of snow that froze after it had settled and then had more snow on top. Just noticed this video on failblog, lol. I don't know where it is though, they have English accents but it looks too deep to be in England. Maybe Scotland. http://failblog.org/2010/01/13/giant-snowball-win/
Yeah thats just about exact on the color scheme I'm going for on my near future R1. For the black though i don't want any gloss if possible other than the windscreen and possibly rims. all factory decals must go like on my current bike. Its going to look simple yet Epic. Everyone has a dream "Car"...Mine just happens to be a bike which I felt I had...now I need more. I wouldnt mind a T-Rex though.
This is the bike that I've got my eye on for the future. I just love the black with gold rims. As for the T-Rex, 3 wheels aren't as fun as 2, but I suppose it would come in handy for those rainy days
TouchArcade: The home of racially-tolerant gamers. I personally like the black one; looks a little bit more sleek to me. Of course, I'm not big into bikes, so... Not like my opinion means much. But these bikes look pretty cool. I would be extremely jealous of the rider if I saw one running down the highway.
