Maybe he got sick of buying apps. It's so quick and easy to buy apps, and the fact that they are cheap and fun to buy makes it hard to not make impulse purchases. Too much of a good thing is bad for you and he probably got tired. On a related note, Does anyone remember his first app review? I remember he reviewed Tetris when I was just a lurker and everyone slammed him for it! I guess to be respected you gotta be persistent until then it's earned

People want Big Albie because he was active and very well known for always taking one for the team with new iphone apps!
Haven't been here in a while. Don't know if I posted here or not. Been a while, like I stated. Sorry to see BA go. It wasn't just his reviews, it was pretty much all of his posts that were of good quality. He was one of those good for nice back and forth, well thought out, intelligent banter about games and the general direction of iPhone/touch gaming as a whole. As for that other poster who was trolling, it's just a symptom of what happens when a site becomes "famous" to a select group: the trolls start to infest the place. So...don't feed the trolls. Albie's gaffe in that topic, IMHO, was feeding said troll, as others did. I even see Arn doing it from time to time in the front page posts. It isn't necessary for the people running this site, or behind the content of this site, to "defend" themselves to baseless accusations that amount to "cheap heat" trolling. The site speaks for itself, IMHO.
+1 A week or two ago I was just thinking that I hadn't seen you around lately either. You're another one of the same dieing breed as BA on this forum so it's good to see you haven't given up on TA completely. I've cut down on the time I spend here lately and it's kind of nice to take a breather, get out of the loop a little bit, and then come back and discover a few new games that you missed. It's been hard not keeping up with the latest hoopla from the usual suspects in the Lounge, but once you take a step back something remarkable happens.. you remember how much you don't care about what people you don't know are writing about
