Where is Quake Classic already??

Yeah he emailed back. He said time was limited and he really wants to do more classic games but time is limited. Probably Rage and Doom 4. We'll get something hopefully soon

 

ya, they been working on rage trying to get it ready, it looks amazing...as soon as its done you will see doom2 quake classic comming to the touch devices...

Anyways I haven't heard anything about it and I really want it... (Quake is probably my second favorite franchise by ID first of course being Doom) but I am thinking Doom 2 will be next as ID has already talked about that one as a for sure.

But also I can't wait for Rage! That is going to be awesome!

 

I would love to see Epic release Unrealtournament that game was quake 3's only rival. On topic however Id like to see Quake 3 releases 1st then release 2&1. I love the classics but Id only play 1&2 for nostalgia purposes Id play Q3 because it's a rocking game still able to hold it's own in today's market. Infact it would be a great fit among the current FPS on the iPhone.

 

That would actually be pretty cool. I think iOS4 adds bluetooth keyboard support to iPhones and iPod touches if I'm not mistaken.

 

I have quake 3 running fullscreen at 1024x768 on my iPad (Jailbroken) and it runs SMOOTH as glass... unfortunetally the only way to control the character is with Tilt controls and it ruins the game... if it was dual stick and had actual menus and options it would be awesome.

 

Yeah, I have that running on my iPod as well as the original Quake, although I'd kill for a port with some decent controls. I actually ended up buying Doom Classic just for the improved controls.

 

When I was 4, playing the Nintendo 64, I had a bad experience with Quake.. Haven't played it till this day

 

i'd sell my left nut for a good quake port, that game is just too good.

 

Sounds like what happened to me when I played my first resident evil game (number 2) when I was a kid but I was able to finish it a couple years later. Damn lickers scared me so much that it made me have insomnia for nearly two days...

But also I prefer Doom 64 to doom 1 and doom 2 easy.

 

Haha.. I think I might go and actually play it through.. I love my nintendo 64, the graphics are so great.. And just curious

Hmm are they making a exclusive iphone game? Sounds interesting, I wonder... Quake RPG? (I like wolfenstein rpg and doom 2 rpg lol... a quake rpg would be awesome in my eyes.)
