Windows Xp OS. I am looking for where it goes once I "copy" it to the Applications folder in iTunes? I can't seem to find it - does it get appended to another file and is therefore un deletable? Tried to google - but google only wants me to know how to put it on my iphone - thanks I know how to do that...
It doesn't. Actually it is pretty weird - the folder that you drop into the apps area actually turns into an ipa... there is no subfolder present anymore - at least not in the area that all the ipas are.
Any more information on this? I'm wondering the same thing. We're having an issue syncing from Windows' machines (works fine for Mac). But I want to know where the mobileprovision file gets installed so I can manually delete it to be sure things are cleaned up. I did a file search and could not find it anywhere. Unless you are saying it gets embedded in another file. I wasn't quite sure what you meant. Though I did notice the app directory gets turned into the ipa file.
well i could tell you exactly if you had vista, but it is a slightly different place on xp ok, try here for you xp users: oops that was for crash logs
I think Minefield knows. Hey Minefield?? Where are the mobile provisioning files on the PC under XP OS?? Thanks.
Actually, I am on Vista. I thought it might be somewhere under AppData. Oh, and I'm also using UAC, which sometimes places files in some other wild directory if it does not have write access in the original directory.
