Apple approval process has gone from bad to worst since the 3.0 update and the funny thing is its supposed to make it better. apple should start treating devs and their consumers with respect... pls let me decide what is to be censored, that's why we have parental control right? a BIG PART of the success of the i-devices lies in its gaming market ( small download, accessibility of the appstore, cheap pricing) but if PSPgo played it's cards right people will start noticing that apps being rejected or delayed due to a piss poor approval process are being released as PSPminis. I myself am pretty tired of apple's approval process and as much as i love my iphone i'm looking to purchase a pspgo and get my app fix from there.

I wont be getting a pspgo... because... well
the app store their will probably not get enough attention even though it has all the controls.. people like working with a touch screen..
and.. well i buy giftcards.. it's easier..

Apple has approved way more apps than they've rejected, and in nearly all the cases I've read about it was a misunderstanding and ultimately the developer's own fault that they got rejected. Developers can and do rate their own apps for parental control but your rating has to reflect your app's content. Don't rate your jiggly-boob app 4+ and you'll be fine.

Also, I highly doubt Sony will be more lenient than Apple. Hell, just try to find a public PSP developer portal or any info on how to get a devkit without writing a letter and making an appointment.

Competition brings out the best in everyone! Apple's approval process leaves a lot to be desired, i hope now that sony wants a piece of the pie it may force apple to improve its app approval process!

The apple have had such a success with the app store, and part of it is due to their approval policies. The reason apple has an approval process is because they want to give users a high level of experience, not like sucky WinMo. That, of course, is no excuse for apple and their crazy decisions in the past though.

Ya it`ll be better if apple improves it`s appstore approval system, but still it`s doing pretty fine and I think I`ll stay with my iPhone for the time being. It`s way way cheaper to get apps for it. I stopped gaming 3-4 years ago and the last console I bought was Wii, which too is eating dust for years now. iPhone got me hooked back to gaming coz it`s always there with me. The games are way way cheaper then I could ever imagine and even more cheaper when you consider the fact that you can share them with all the iDevices you have at home.

I`m pretty sure PSPgoo will never allow this kind of sharing. And even if Sony pulls out a miracle and some PSP-Phone does get better than iPhone+AppStore in every aspect, I doubt it`ll be happening anytime soon. May be 3 years down the line it`ll beat apple(anythings possible, who knew apple will have one of the best portable gaming device 3 years ago). But until then, I m going to stick with my iPhone. :)
