      I'm new to Macs as a computer (stuck in the PC age!)

      I want to buy one, but don't want to buy one just before new, better ones are announced.

      So what date are Macs announced, i.e iPhones/iPods usually June.
      Or aren't they updated yearly?

      The macbooks and macbook pros just got refreshed. It should be a little while until they refresh again.

      I kinda like the fact that I can have the ATI Radeon HD graphics cards in my 17 one...games play a lot better.

      It says "DON'T BUY" on the lower end Macbooks...
