Fixed! eggzbacon you have overtaken LordGek Have you tried the Cutlass against them? That tends to kill them pretty quickly. You need to beat Rush mode to earn it though.
i got pretty close to finishing rush, but failed terribly. I'll try to beat that then go ahead and continue with adventure. The cutlass doesn't destroy cannon balls does it? If not, maybe that could be an item too
It does indeed destroy cannon balls. It's quite powerful but you need to time your hits correctly to take out enemies.
505 -- I can NOT get past it. I have tried every configuration - left right even upside down. Am I wheeler impaired?
As soon as Apple approves it! It was submitted on October 14. Thanks eggzbacon, it fades out the HUD/interface before it takes a snapshot and puts it in your photo library. We've found that some people prefer going left-to-right (which you can change in options), using inverted controls, or changing other control settings. Additionally a lot of people don't realize you can jump down when in the air to stomp on things.
I've just updated the Score board with your score (are you HVP on OpenFeint?). 505 is good! Some things that might help Do you use the hook at all? That tends to make things easier. Especially getting over hazards. Don't stay inside the Wheel, except when it's convenient. If you find Water stay in it until the last possible moment to heal as much as possible. It increases your overfill bar, which is blue. When that is full you gain a new heart. If you are hit by an enemy you instantly lose your overfill. Don't repair as soon as you can, especially don't repair around lava or cannonballs. They are less likely to damage the wheel if it has a lot of pieces missing. Running away from bats is often the best way to deal with them The most helpful items in keeping alive would be the Pocket Watch, Cutlass and Wheeler's No. 4 drink.
