Hey all! Just wanted to see what everyone's setup is for when they play games. Could be sitting in your car with your ipod taped to the steering wheel while playing NFS: S, or something as big as owning say... A movie theater in town and having your XBOX set up in it. I'm just interested in finding out. Any system, any place. Me personally, I have a PS3, and I've got it hooked up in my movie room to a 110 in projecter in full 1080p with surround sound. All I have to say is that Uncharted 2 is amazing in there! Wait, why am I here posting this? Uncharted time! Oops... Brain Fart. What's your gaming setup?
This, pretty much. But I sold all my old Wii games for a little over the price of Modern Warefare 2. Their prices drops quick, but they're only like $40 to begin with. I've got my 360 hooked up to a 40ish inch HD TV. And that's probably the nicest set-up I'll have for a while. Going to college in a couple years, and I'll be fighting for scraps. I'm pretty sure the parents'll wanna keep the TV I'm not taking a picture of my freakin' living room, nerdy Martha Stewart.
1080p monitor on my desk, 360 & PS3 hooked up. DS and iPod Touch on the shelf under the desk, laptop on top 21" SDTV for the Wii in the other corner, also an Xbox, PS2 and GC over there but not hooked up.
Xbox360, Psp, DS and mostly iPhone. I got a 42" Hitachi plasma with a high end Denon amp with Energy speakers. The TV is three years old now but the sound system is where most of my money went. Edit: I think I got pictures, just a sec...
73" HDTV with 360(hurry up ME 2), PS2, Genesis, N64 Might have some other old consoles in the closet, but they're never hooked up. Also have an iPod Touch of course. Edit: And my computer is too crappy to play anything really, besides flash games.
I have a 37" 1080i tv in my room with my xbox 360 and ps3 hooked up to it. I also do some bootcamp gaming on my mac.
42'' 1080p HDTV with PS3 and Wii hooked up, Panasonic home theater surround sound w/ sub. iPhone w/ hundreds of games on it everywhere I go. In my old room at my parents house I have a 27'' SDTV with NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, and Gamecube. GB Color, GBA, and Gamegear in my desk. It was still all there last time I checked... tho I have a sneaking suspicion my dad would try to sell it all if he could get away with it... he still can't get over the fact that yes I still play video games
My 360 is hooked up to a 65" SD, except I have to walk downstairs everytime I wanna play since it's in the living room.
73-inch 1080p Mitsubishi, 360, PS3, and Oppo Blu-Ray player, with 5.1 surround. Wish for 7.1, but the room's not quite big enough for two more channels.
40 inch Samsung 1080p Old Sony 5.1 Receiver for sound XBOX 360 (with HD DVD player) PS3 Wii (softmodded) OTA HDTV Behind the couch in the opposite corner I have M.A.M.E. arcade cabinet converted from Tekken 2 and originally (before I bought it) a Simpsons Arcade cabinet. It's beat to hell and I don't have a proper marquee but replicates the experience decently enough and the old school display is perfect for older console games as well.
