Yeah... I've been dissapointed with this season so far. I wish this season was more like the 1st season, which was fantastic. And yes, the last plot twist had me laughing out loud it was so cheesy. I still have faith in the writers, if they could put together the 1st season they should be able to end this season well (hopefully)

Best anime I ever watched is without a doubt Death Note. Every episode left me on the edge of my sofa wondering who would die next.

Y'know, I actually tried to get into it once... I was watching TV late once and it came on Adult Swim... Unfortunately it was right in the middle of the season and it was my first time watching the show, so I was beyond confused. I will say though, gotta love that theme song.

Yeah, if I ever need to get myself back into anime (I'm kind of on/off with it), I'll be sure to check out DeathNote after finishing Hellsing (only had 13 episodes, which I'm over halfway through).

That theme song is easily my favorite, although the Hellsing theme ranks up there pretty high. Something about that song is really, really catchy. I highly recommend checking out the show, although if you want a more fleshed-out and much, much more violent version of the series, check out Hellsing Ultimate. They basically took the 13 episodes of Hellsing, redid everything, added a TON of violence and gore, went deeper into the stories, and put it into 9 (I think) movies, the 7th of which has them fighting Nazi Zombies. It gets crazy at times, but it's really worth watching. The only reason I'd suggest watching the show is for the background music, but you can easily find that on Youtube (just ask if you need links).

The Wire. No other drama comes close for me. I remember watching the ending of season 3 and just sitting there on the couch crying.

I kind of preferred season 2, just because it moved away from the "case of the week" structure of the first, but they were both good. I'm worried this season just seems to be throwing in tons of side-plots and pointless twists; especially Peter and the shapeshifters.

I really need to go watch the walking dead after just finishing the first 48 issues. How far does the first season go.
