So I was browsing through the App Store and noticed that Trainyard was in the 'New & Noteworthy' section and I thought, 'Wow, this icon is really nice'. I already have this game, so I know how the icon looked, but I haven't played it in awhile, so when I saw the icon after so long, it reminded me of how much I liked it. And to tell you the truth, it was part of the reason why I bought the game in the first place So what are you guys' favorite app icon(s)?
I like the ones for N.Y.Zombies and Hybrid: Eternal Whisper, personally. I've always liked those ones with the black background that blends with a black background (which I currently have on my iPod anyway).
Yeah, I love that icon also. I can't really think of any others that are worth the mention, however most icons are of a good standard these days.
Labyrinth 2 is one of my favourites, as is Let's Create Pottery. The 3D effects on those two are awesome.
it is a really good icon. Kinda reminds me of a little toy train xmas tree ornament for some reason.. Honestly, proper icon design is one of the most important decisions one can make in the whole development process..
Yea, definitely. The icon is like the face of the app, if it were to have a face of course Oh yea, Labryrinth 2 is really nice as well!
