Ok, I'm not posting again regarding this issue after this, but this is the top thread and stickied on the official forum for IB2: http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/864706-Infinity-Blade-2-Save-Game-Issue. Also, if you look at their recent responses on Twitter, they've been addressing everyone who's mentioned the save bug to them.

I agree it must have really sucked losing hours' worth of progress though. I hope you can still enjoy the game in the future once they fix the game completely.

And I have been, once disabling iCloud.

My apologies to everyone for being a little overly hot-headed and defensive with my choice of words, nothing personal guys. Just a very frustrating issue for me.

Haha this is all just great. Next time I go to McDonald's and I'm not 100% satisfied with the $6 I spent on a meal there, I'm going to tweet the shit out of them. If McDonald's fails to address my tweet over $6 I will grow even more angry.

Come on people. I can't recall 1 time I was unhappy with a purchase in the app store because that money just as easily could have gone towards 2 mcribs. So include the fact that infinity blade is one of the finest games in the app store, It insane the upheaval caused when a few people lose a saved game.

We're talking Mcribs people. If you are going to get mad at every quirk you spend a dollar on...stop spending money.

Oh boy, here we go with the "it's only X number of dollars" analogies. Seriously dude, come on. All app store games are pretty cheap, it's no secret. If you wanna make a real analogy, make it more like, waiting in line at the McDonald's drive-thru for 8 hours, and then when you finally get your 2 McRibs at the window and drive off, you open the bag to realize that there's nothing but fries in them, and you have to go back again to wait for your McRibs. Then when you get there again after being told how to resolve the problem to keep it from happening again, you wait the 8 hours again, and guess what? Bag of fries. Back of the line again. You'd be tweeting about it. Add to that the fact that Chair has far more than 6 of my dollars (which, since you're keeping score, is not the actual price of IB2) including past purchases and plenty of IAP, and I'm actually one of their higher-paying customers. A little satisfaction is not too much to ask. This issue has cost hours and hours of my life, and if I ask for a 5 or 6 word resolution (which I got from Chair tonight, and am satisfied with), I think I've earned that much. So no, we're not talking McRibs. Unless about 16 hours of your life is worth 2 McRibs, in which case, I stand corrected.

By your logic, nobody has the right to ever complain about any app ever again, simply because they are inexpensive. Very sound logic.

That's exactly what it is. It's X amount of dollars so it isn't worth getting back in like for the 3rd time to wait 16 hours for a frickin mcrib. It isn't worth it for an app either. The problems will get solved eventually. Find other things to do than brood over $6 until the problem gets fixed.
