      After previously swearing to my friends and family that I would never create a Twitter account, I have finally succumbed to the pressure and created an account.

      Since I am new to Twitter, I do not have any interest in paying for a Twitter app for my iPhone, regardless of how inexpensive they might be. However, I would like to get the best FREE Twitter app, just so that I can gauge whether or not I enjoy the service.

      Any suggestions?

      I've been really happy with the free version of Echofon

      I use Twitteriffic. :)

      It's great, and you can use it to check multiple accounts.

      Thanks. I installed both Echofon and Twitteriffic, and so far I like Twitteriffic a bit more.

      Any other suggestions?

      I use Twitteriffic FREE, and TweetDeck is good too.
