Im looking for a super breakout type of game, anyone have any recommendations on which is the best? Price isn't a factor.

And also, anyone that owns battleatsea, can you play through 3g or edge? Or does it have to be wifi only?

Gameloft's Block Breaker Deluxe 2 is amazing. I deleted all my other breakout games after getting that one.

Yeah, Block breaker Deluxe 2 is the best one of it's kind I have ever played, and was only $1.19. Buy it now.

Meteor isn't too bad, it's faster paced than Block Breaker Deluxe. Oh and there's a lite version available.

    Completely agree.
There is no competition. BBD2 is heads and shoulders better than any other breakout game in the App Store. Plus, it's got different power ups that I don't believe have ever been in breakout games before.

Space Buster (the first one I had bought from the app store, back when it was called Ikanoid [old skool]) was the best at the time, but I found it to be rather buggy, crashes often even with the updates and I still find it laggy.

    All in all, BBD2.

I haven't tried anything other than Space Buster, But since i got it free I love it! I do agree though it does seem a bit unstable...

I actually payed for it back when it was either $1.99 or $2.99. Either way, I feel entitled to point out the bugs! :D
But yeah, as a freebie, it's not horrible, but it's certainly not great.
And again, compared to BBD2, you just can't compare.

My eldest niece is obsessed - and do I mean OBSESSED - with Break Classic. It's only a buck and the developer routinely updates it.

    Don't get me started.
Believe me, I know all about the "updates". That is all I'm going to say ever again on the developer
