I don't want to update if there's nothing significant, does anyone know?

"iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. iTunes 8.2 also includes many accessibility improvements and bug fixes."

It is still slow. I am using Windows 7 and iTunes 8.1 worked better for me.

iTunes has always been incredibly slow on PCs. Oddly enough, it's as fast as any other program on a Mac.

I use Windows and iTunes runs at a decent speed. Except for when I'm scrolling through my apps (I do that rarely though), it lags for so long that sometimes I start to wonder if it crashed. I never use cover flow either

That does take FOREVER, I never do that for that reason.
But other than that it is usually okay. Another time it is slow is when it hasn't been used in a while, then it is VERY slow also (but I think that is usual).

I think 8.2 has added a few bugs, one it rechecked some of the songs I had unchecked for sync and I get a error message on I-tunes start up every time now, good luck!
