The rule in Touch Arcade is 'newer = better', so if Real Racing had been released first, people would now be raving about NFS and how better it is compared to Real Racing.

I'd say they are both different, one is arcade, the other is sim. They're both great. If anything, Real Racing competes with Fastlane, not NFS.

Hm... are you suggesting a TD racing game? I could totally see it happen.

But seriously, RR is the best sim game, even though it's more fun than sim games usually are (GT for example). NFS is the best looking racing game overall, and the best arcade game.

After playing one quick race I can safely say that Real racing is awesome. Also to compare these two games to each other is a little insane. I mean who actually compares the Burnout franchise to the Gran Turismo franchise. Each one has different features which makes both of them great. I know I had them both. And couldn't stand being without either one. Real Racing has a very sophisticated interface kind of like the Gran Turismo series and the intro is the best freaking intro I have ever seen on just about any racing game period whether this gen or the next but having said that the in game graphics don't quite live up to the intro even thought the intro looks like it may have once been the ingame graphics. Also the game appears to be massive even more so than the sims 3 which I have already seen the best of. Lastly the sound, it what helps to make the intro so darn awesome and the ingame sounds and music make racing enjoyable.
