Well if you are an old fan of mobile games, you would know what year was the best and your favorite year of all times. Do you think the past was good or new era of causual games? Drop it here and let's us see your opinions, could be helpful for everyone even developers.
For me, each year was just better than the last. No particular year really trumped my own iOs gaming history. One thing's for sure. The Flappy craze got annoying really fast.
This year already looks better than last year and we're only one month in. At this time last year the big releases were Jet Car Stunts 2, Castle Doombad, and Three's!! This year we've seen Radiation Island, Particle Mace, Hero Emblems, Space Marshals, and a couple others. Not to mention the king of big releases is just around the corner (I'm looking at you Heroes and Castles 2).
Just to name off the few; Bioshock, GTA San Andreas (The Best of the series) & the near perfect Strangers Wrath
Don't forget about Mission Europa 2 which is a mix of bioshock and system shock,it should come out in 2015,barren roads which is basically DayZ on ios and the wild in the near future.This year def gonna be the best for me.I would say 2013-2014 but because bioshock is not available here...I'll pass and wait for mission Europa 2.
And then there's Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (TA Community's Game of the Year 2014), VVVVVV, Shadowrun Dragonfall, the Dragon Quest titles, Papers Please, XCOM Enemy Within, FTL, The Banner Saga and Hearthstone. Dont forget the forerunners in iOS originals as well: Monument Valley, Battlehert Legacy, Wayward Souls, Bug Heroes 2, Deep Loot, Traps N Gemstones, Ghost Blade, Castle Doombad, Leo's Fortune, Threes!, Bardbarian, Goblin Sword, Powerpuff Girls Defenders of Townsville, Spider-Man Unlimited and Shadow Blade among other huge titles.
