Here's my first week or so. Technically, my very first game was Bomberman: The Legend of Mystic Bomb. Can't say I really enjoyed that. I mean, it was great and had good graphics for such an early app but I didn't enjoy it much because of movement and controller issues. Next was Crash Kart and I really liked that. It was one of the first racing games and it was really good.
Yeah, crash kart was good. It is a classic on the PS1 and on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Here's a tip - if you export images in PNG format, they are a lot clearer when you add them to a post on a forum. Your screenshot is readable, just a bit blurry .
Ahh, yeah I noticed. Should've made it PNG instead of JPG. Thanks for the tip. I like racing games with cartoony graphics. While real-life graphics in racing games is fun as well, I originally fell in love with Mario Kart and so I enjoy it a lot. It would be awesome if Nintendo would port Mario Kart over to the iDevice but actually customized and improved it for the iDevice with accelerometer. Sega did bad with their Sonic port in my opinion. Didn't put much work into it. They just brought it over without customizing it for the iDevice.
Looks like I went the free route at the beginning: iPint, Jirbo Arcade, Tap Tap Revenge, Astro Tilt, Urban Spoon, Scribble lite, Lightsaber Unleashed The first game I purchased: Apple Texas Holdem - $4.99 on 8/12/08 Almost a year later and guess how much it costs still - and guess how many times they've added anything with updates. Spoiler: still costs the same and hasn't been updated since Sept 02, 2008.
first page: google earth, spore origins LE, cube, jelly car, armado lite, trace, pandora radio, mazefinger, google mobile app, fake a call, hit tennis, cube runner, rhinoball. all free apps my first paid app was cro-mag rally, $1.99
My first free app was Cube Runner. Paid app was Super Monkey Ball, then Engimo, and then lots more..' And yeah, I definitely agree 100% with you! I bought so many STUPID and time/money wasting games in the past which I could've saved my money on! Lol
My first were Darts, Powerboat Challenge and Tap Defense....All but one of which have been deleted. First app i ever paid money for was Diner Dash.
Tap Tap Revenge followed immediately by Super Monkey Ball, I missed my 1.4 jailbreak with the old tap tap revolution and rrootage (thank god its in the appstore now) seconds after discovering monkey ball wasnt as great as it was supposed to be
My first game was Crash Kart. At first it was pretty fun, but now there are many games better than it.
Field Runners - broke my App store cherry Most expensive game i bought also. I had to buy a Touch first before i bought this game lol. Btw Final Fantasy 7 forced me to kick Nintendo to the curb for PS1.
