What version of the iPhone OS are you using

Hmm...I'm on 3.0 , no option in the poll for me.

But everyone in my house with a touch or iPhone (4 except me) are on 2.2.1 so I'll vote for 2.2.1 on account for them

 

Yea. You should have an option for OS people. I'm back on 2.2.1 now, but was on 3.0. And why have an option for other 2.x?

 

I was using 2.2.1 until I got 3.0

but... what's the point of this poll? i guess 99% of the ppl upgrade their firmware immediately after release.

The only reason people weren't on 2.2.1 were because of unlocking issues with yellowsnow. 2.2.1 chamged the baseband and those people couldn't unlock their phone anymore and the dev team warned everyone not to upgrade if this mattered to you.

They have since put out a work around to fix this and people could upgrade.

Otherwise, generally people upgrade. Unless they aren't too tech savvy and can hardly run a computer. But that's also not the kind of people who visit sites like these. We want the newest and best.

The case you had earlier, was a complete fluke it sounds like, and he explained the error he was having.

 

Ohh btw, people running 2.2.1 are better than people with 3.0 and previous versions (sarcasm)

yes, i'm using 3.0 beta4 too. why there is no such option in poll?

 

I think he meant the poll was a fail for not having 3.0 on it. Not the beta software. I find beta 4 to be really good.

 

So anyone got beta 5 yet? Is it smooth?

I heard the earlier betas were a resource hog :/
