Yeah, I'm listening to so much instrumental rock, my last 40 played are all 7 minutes + Have you heard if these trees could talk, this will destroy you, or and I watch you from afar? They're all pretty awesome edit: They're all bands, not song names, which is the mistake my friends made
I've heard of If these Trees Could Talk. Not actually a bad group, though I am not huge on the Post-Rock stuff. Like I said, though, they are pretty good. Have not heard of the other 2 bands though. Worth checking out? Oh, and I am no stranger to lengthy songs by a stretch at all. In fact, some of my top 20 favourite songs are 20+ minutes long. LOL
I'll check them out anyways. I surprise myself from time to time. LOL And yeah long songs are awesome. Sometimes hugely unnecessary though. But for the most part, awesome!
Haha! Lol don't worry man I'm not a huge BEP fan. That song just happened to be playing. I prefer Rock that Body and Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling. That "IMMA BE" Gets annoying after a while.
BEP sucks, imo. their songs are way too full of autotunes and effects. their concerts are horrible because of that - the songs sung with their normal voices sound weird.
Yeah they are. I mean they're fun to listen to, but when you take off the effects and auto-tune there's hardly any talent there, IMO.
I really really like thier old pre-Fergie shit. That stuff is funky as all hell. Great music. Now-a-days it too dance-ie for me. My wife is really into all their stuff, so I get a plentiful dose of it all. Rock That Body owns though. I think BEP are one of the few groups that can pull off the auto-tune without sounding terrible. Usually it annoys the piss out of me but with BEP (with the exception of certain songs) it's fairly good. Just my opinion though.
Karma, Fallin Up, Joints N Jam, and Say Goodbye are among my favourites. Especially Karma. Listen to that shit first. It's like... not even the same group you're gunna be shocked. Hhahahahaa
Dang!!! Whoa! I heard Karma and man you are so right, it's crazy it's like not even the same group!! hahaha it's like good old school funky hip-hop. They've changed alot... wow...
Nuts right? They have changed a ton. Ironically right after they acquired Fergie. LOL but yeah man that shit is good to just jam on once in a while. I highly suggest jamming on the whole album. Bridging the Gap is a good album as well. Funky ass hip-hop like Behind the Front, and the last album before the aquired teh Ferg.
