\o/ - my favourite Mars Volta album. Masterpiece. Cassandra Gemini still brings a tear tonmy eye when it comes back at the end.

Yeah, it's probably the best prog rock album I've ever heard, it's awesome and I really love Cassandra Gemini too :D (I prefer Cygnus but still all the album is awesome)
Also, I've been hearing Noctourniquet a lot too, it's The Mars Volta lite :v

I have just seen the "Dark Horse" parody by Bart Baker. I can't stop laughing.

I've still been going back and forth between the new Autechre album (elseq 1-5) and the live Autechre sets (Ae_Live) for the last 3 weeks. I can't get enough of it all. Over 13 hours of music...
It's like the live sets are jams the duo did and the album has taken those ideas and expanded on them in multiple ways (kind of like Download's Furnace vs. TEOSP). But I got a .jpg of... I guess you could call it track times... for the live sets, so I made cue files for each of them and threw em on my phone. I'm hoping it makes the 9+ hours of music a little easier to digest.

Autechre fans are in heaven right now... =oP

Little bit obsessed by Last Words, by Isaac Gracie. Brilliant song. The EP's not bad either, but not up to this.

Sorry - if I knew how to embed the song, I'd have done it right!

    =o)

I'm still listening to Autechre's Elseq 1-5 and Ae_Live. It's actually the only thing I've been listening to for the last couple months. I'm beyond obsessed. =oP

I did just snag the Garbage anniversary reissue of their self-titled album (the double disc, not the 62 track [or whatever] version). But I haven't listened to it yet...

Other than that, I'm eagerly awaiting new cEvin Key & Ogre project music. I think Download, The Tear Garden and Ohgr are all working on new material, as is Skinny Puppy...

    Super excited...!!!

    Now back to Elseq 4...

Still on my Ae kick, but I've moved into Gescom territory and just got ISS:SA in the mail yesterday, so I am listening to TR2A right now. Fantastic album....

I've also joined WATMM, so those of you who are sick of seeing all my electronic crap clog up this thread can breath a sigh of relief, as I now have a place where I can dump all my music feels other than this TA thread... =oD

I think my wife is more excited about than I am actually... Hopefully she feels the same way in a week when I have nothing to talk about anymore. =oP

Ha, right on... I just got my kids some jibs to try n get them off the Apple 'phones. My oldest loves them, but my youngest doesn't like that they're like earplugs with a speaker... Her moms the same way. =oP

I might try n get her some overears, and will most likely wind up getting some kind of Skullcandy something for her...
They seem to like the bass/frequency response...

Really, I'm just hoping to get them away from the cheap iPhone docks, blutooth speakers and laptop speakers they've been listening on... =oP
