Oh man, been into Fear Factory for yeeeeears and years. Had the pleasure of seeing them live many many times, including once directly after a Pantera/Slayer/Morbid Angel concert in Vancouver when they were playing in a little club just down the street. Got to see them in the Mechanize era and was lucky enough to bump into Gene Hoglan in the crowd before the show (who nobody seemed to recognize, which was beyond weird since he's not exactly an easy guy to miss) and got to talk drums with him for a good while. Also a big fan of Dino's other (former) band Divine Heresy. Metalhead all around here, brother! \m/ (*_*) \m/
Pumping that game album so hard! First cd is the bomb, buying the 2nd one today Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Woah, that is AWESOME!!! I remember being quite a fan of the first Divine Heresy album. I distinctly remember a friend and I constantly singing along to "Closure" while cruising a few years back.
Awesome! "Closure" is definitely the most sing-along-able song of the album Also agree that I'm a big fan of the first album, although not so much the second. Seemed like they could've picked a better vocalist to fill Tommy Vext's shoes. I really loved his "90's Phil Anselmo" thrash-style vocals, and the new dude just didn't cut it for me. Plus the whole second album just sounded like a blur of overly-triggered double kick to me. Don't get me wrong, I love some brutal drumming, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing, and this was just...way, WAY too much of a good thing. Which made it kind of a shitty thing lol.
Another track from the documentary 2...that sick beat. The Game ft. Kendrick Lamar - On me Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I like that Gang Starr sample. I still have problems wit hardcore and R&B mixed since Mary & Meth. The Lady sounds good on her cover of _________, i juz dont hear it well, it seems outta place especially wit Game goin so hard on the track.
Now Ill Produce! The last time i neck snapped to an Erykah Badu sample wuz on Jeru The Damaja's Heroes For Hire. So it'z r&b samples > full singing. I have'nt been up to date wit Game l8tly tho he iz killin it as expected. I know Compton iz goin crazy wit this especially since Straight Outta Compton hit theaters. Plus Dr. Dre's Compton
