I was going to tell you to check out Necro Facility after you posted the Too Dark Park link. If you are unfamiliar, they are a contemporary Swedish(?) duo with I think 3 albums out and they sound similar to Skinny Puppy. Worth a listen for sure.
Yeah... I've got The Room and Wintermute... then the Lightbringer single. I like The Room, but Wintermute went a tad more synth-pop than I usual like (I'm very picky with my synth/future-pop...), but still good.
I feel like the bottom fell out of the futurepop scene a few years back. For awhile there were so many great bands and now it's so quiet or I just don't know about a lot of the newer bands. Definitely a lot of the mainstay bands have either broken up, not released an album in years or have turned too generic( looking at you Rotersand!). Anything new and exciting you're listening to?
Not as far as future/synth-pop is concerned... The Twilight Garden maybe... really, finding new artists is a frick'n chore. There's not too many that I've liked, but Chrysalide, Dead When I Found Her, Fractured.... I'm trying to think of more that are newer to the scene (last 5 years or so)... but I got really into IDM and Modern Classical over the last couple years, so I didn't pay much attention to the industrial/ebm whatever scene.
