I have black ops,Borderlands,Infamous,Uncharted 2,Resistence 2 .I'm want to get Mass Effect 2 and my brother wants Just Cause 2..What are some good split screen games or free roam/ rpg games.
Killzone 3 allows for splitscreen co-op through the entire campaign. Also, Portal 2 comes out tuesday and it offers a splitscreen campaign in addition to the singleplayer campaign. As for free roam games, you absolutely must play Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood. The original is good too, but it's much more of a niche game; it has a lot of flaws that are tough to overlook if you aren't really invested in the story and the setting. AC2 and AC:B are pure gold though.

Just Cause 2 was the most enjoyable game on ps3 I've ever played, also battlefield 1943 is pretty good too!
Dungeon Hunter Alliance just came out on the PSN and four players can play together. Pretty fun game for $13.

Yah, I know, it's sad. Everyone has so high of expectations and it might just flop on it's face. If it's good when it comes out he should get it. Portal 2 on the other hand will not, because it's a sequel. There's a big difference between a new IP and a sequel, a sequel has to be close to as good as the original.
Red Faction- Guerilla Could probably pick it up for 10 bucks now and it's fantastic. Beating buildings down is SOOO fun and it's a huge BANG for your buck.
