What Operating System(s) do you have on your computer, and why?

Windows XP (wish I had a mac....)
Macs own PC's.....
Windows vista sucks....

 

I started using a Mac because I went to film school. Before I graduated, I made sure to get a new MacBook Pro. I find Macs to be much more useful for me than PCs, even with non film related work.

 

Macs pwn everything. Period. I am saving for one, but I can't seem to net anything. DSi=$170 down the drain. Plus new iPhone/iPods later in the year will kill a lot of the rest.

 

I use a Macbook Pro with OSX 10.5.6

I have VMWare for *nix and XP (required for work).

 

What's with the *. It's either UNIX or Linux.

What could you need for work? BSD? Maybe. Minix? No. I'm not seeing it. Elaborate.

I never got my WiFi working on my laptop.

 

OSX 5.6 + SDK = <3 nuff said

 

I have Vista and Windows 7. I have tried Ubuntu and I deleted it. I like compiz fusion and other things. I tried to to install it in my laptop but couldn't get the wireless to work. Then, when I had to write my doctoral dissertation, the only and best option was Windows with office 2007.

I am curious about Mac OS X, but I won't pay more for a computer just because of the OS. Windows 7 is coming, so it makes mac even less appealing to me.

I know very well how to use a computer and that's why I don't have any problems with Vista or Windows 7.
