I'm a Death Note fan, and the main character is named Light Yagami. Of course, names in Japan are said backwards from the way we say them in Western countries, so its Yagami Light.

I was given the name GodSon as a pup by family and it stuck ever since. I have used it for just about everything (breakdancing, Martial arts, Graffiti, video games, etc.) except my on air radio alias. I was told it stood for "Son of God" which pretty much means Child of the Lord (which I am). GodSon is two words spelled as one which is why there is emphasis on the "G" and "S". I fell in love with it from day one and ran with it ever since. It has grown more meaning to me over time and i could go on forever about it. I would say it keeps me well grounded.


And yes I have also been a Nas (A.K.A Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones) listener since Illmatic!

 

Ohh man, he used to be soooo fricking good and then after stillmatic and lost tapes, everything started sucking bad. Illmatic was the best, actual album, but lost tapes is in my opinion, his best songs.

 

My user name comes from the initials in this sentence:

Actually, it's been my freelance business name for a decade (Web design plus interactive media of all kinds). It would also make a good name for a game business, if and when I get off my hindquarters and finish my iPhone game
