Just a quick poll for everyone, users and developers alike. I ask this because I normally keep mine at the max level but recently ran into someone who keeps theirs very low, and am curious on what the general consensus is. Thanks!
I avoid auto-brightness to save battery. I'm jailbroken, so I can adjust the brightness, even when I'm in an app, depending on what light I'm in. Darn it! I just realized that I'm over 400 posts, and forgot to announce it when I reached 400!
I keep it at roughly one fourth. That's bright enough to see what I'm doing in any lighting that I encounter.
How do you manage with that? I tried it at miminum, but it feels like you're looking at the screen through strong sunglasses. Sure, it saves the battery life, but there's no point in saving battery life if you can't see the screen properly (at least for me).
50% with auto brightness on, unless the world is pitch black in which case i turn it to 20% ish so i don't burn out my eyes.
No idea, I didn't even care about battery life when I set it to min (or almost min, no idea). It's just what I like, I use my phone's screen at min too.
I keep it at about 33%. When I'm outside and it's extremely bright, I'll crank it up to full. Inside, 100% is blinding and hurts the hell out of my eyes.
About 2/3 max, auto-bright off. The only time I'll adjust is if the battery gets low, but it usually gets me through the day.
