RAP AND HIP HOP FTW! I basically only listen to those two genres, occasionally with a smattering of rock on top.
i think some examples of rap metal are bionic jive and vanilla ice "metal" album cypress hills rock album all show you cant be what your not and faking it is easy to pick up for anyone who spends any time with the style of music.
In my defense, it was taken from an article from a fake news site, haha. But the article itself was mocking people who only listen to one genre of music, yet try to make it out like they have such varied tastes, in the process kind of expanding upon the various genres of metal by adding another genre in front of it, and because for some reason (ignorance I believe is the reason, you need only read through these pages and see what I'm talking about) a lot of people don't like rap, rap metal is born! Also some songs like "She Watch Channel Zero" by Public Enemy, that's rap metal if I ever heard it.
