    Since you mention screemo I thought I'd mention an older guilty pleasure of mine. The get up kids. Man I listened to them a lot when I was younger.

    Also an awesome album is Jets to brazil's orange rhyming dictionary. Jet's was the follow up band to jawbreaker, one of my favorite bands of all time.

    Also suprised no ones listed either pantera or danzig.

    Well if your talking metal then yea Pantera is by far my favorite, then Slayer and cannibal corpse, it just seems the older i'm getting the less metal I listen too, but I still like these bands... I just prefer a little easier listening...

    PIG DISTROYER-best metal band out their right now=OPINION

    MELVINS-best band to ever walk the earth=FACT

    Devin Townsend (all progects)- amazing

    Mike Patton (All projects)- very inspiring and faith no more=unbelievable

    Clint Mansell- my fav. soundtracks are form him when teamed up with the Kronos Quartet

    Kool Keith- takes care of most all my rap needs

    jhon zorn- absolutely mind blowing from Masada with its original rules to his acid jazz that will melt your brain

    Buckethead-by far my favorite solo guitarist but his bands are great too like deli creeps and praxis

    No shit, I love dr.doom,...actually I love Danger Doom, his collab with danger mouse. I really had no idea Kool Keith had so many alter ego's.

    More love for pepper here. One of my favorite post sublime bands. Though I must admit nothings been as good as kona town.

    Oh, and love for slightly stoopid, don't want you guys thinking that I like one more than the other;)

    that sir is not hip-hop, thats garbage that younger generation who want to be cool call it hip-hop. How about nas, qtip, jayz, pac, biggie, common just to name a few. If you want newer artist, try Kanye, Lupe, kid cudi
