In H&C1, you are playing defense against waves of enemies, somewhat similar to other tower defense titles. Instead of a focus in towers, H&C emphasizes on summoning your own minions to help you defend your castle. That, and that your main character class and build kinda defines how you should be playing the game. It does feel a bit complicated when you start out, coz it feels like playing a strategy game and an action RPG game at the same time. It does become clear once you start understanding "counter-summoning" where you summon minions to counter what the enemies are sending in that your main character cant easily handle. As Primoz (i still dont feel like calling you Elsa ) pointed, it is one of the best iOS original games available, and the sequel is coming out real soon. Mark May the 14th for that
So many pages and no love for Dungeon Raid? You guys are weird. Notable mentions for me also include PathPix and Noodles which fills up the same niche for me. Helsing's fire is a very much honorable mention, but not a recommendation as long as it remains broken. Funnily enough, they're all puzzle games even though I can't say I like them any more than other genres. They just happen to be the most well-designed as a game as well as fitting the platform they're on. Hm.
There are only 2 games I keep going back to:- Minotaur Rescue (minter magic) Desert Golfing (infinite jest)
RoboSockets: Link Me Up Ridiculous Fishing Darkin (Dungeon Raid would win if it was updated) Dungelot 2 Power Grounds Hipsta Chez Chip Chain the Firm Ziggurat Faif If I could only have these games on my phone, I would still be happy. To me they represent the best in phone gaming. IPad has its own list: Kairo Continue?9876543210 Crazy Taxi Monument Valley Sonic CD FTL Wayward Souls Wonderputt
I downloaded all the games that have been spoken of 3 or more mentions and I don't understand why but I guess I just like different types of games. My favorites are Sim city build it Adventure capitalist Deep loot Any match four type games Almost all clickers
When Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light came out there were about four or five of us playing through it together and pm'ing each other and comparing progress. Each day checking where everyone was and helping along the way. Sharing that experience with good friends (and it's a fantastic game as well) is probably the funnest experience I've had gaming on my phone. Not saying its the best game out there, but great memories though.
Tough question. I honestly don't know. So much to choose from. I'd say fruit ninja for a super casual title and maybe COD Nazi Zombies for more AAA game.
Dragon Encounter why? *clears throat* So Ive been playing this for quite a long time now and I will give you 4 reasons why Im addicted to this arcade-style action RPG. *warms up* First- Dragon Encounter is an Android/IOS user friendly RPG game. Thats why I can play its incredible visuals and animations wherever I go. Also, users may choose which class they want to be in this game, whether they want be a Wizard, an Archer or even a Warrior. Second - it has an exceptional Party Play system, in which users should defeat dungeon bosses real-time three-person tag teams. What I like about this feature is that Dragon Encounter gives me an opportunity to play with my friends. Third I think we can all agree that one of the features that some of us are looking for when playing a mobile RPG game are the PvP and Guild Battles right? Well in this game users can have their own friendly matches in 1v1 and even 3v3 modes. Fourth They have tons of costumes that users can choose for their characters. And when I said tons, Im talking about more than 100 costumes that even Fashionistas would enjoy dressing up for the Legendary Costume from Raid Dragon. *bows*
It's a port, but my favourite mobile game, heck maybe just my favourite game full stop, is The World Ends With You. Brilliant touchscreen controls, great action, superb story and the music... Best iOS original? Maybe Implosion or the Sorcery games. I'd throw in Crashlands, but it's multiplatform, so not sure it counts.
Frontier Defense : great mix of clicker and tower defense. Balance of my favorite genres in which most people frown upon. I can download it anytime and play it like it was my first play. Crashlands : such a big and Indepth game brought to us on such a small scale. I would have bought this on console for $40 and would of been completely satisfied. Butterscotch has built there own world complete with characters anyone would love. This game holds so much for such little price and has many hours of gameplay.
