Are there any laws that can stop him from doing this? There has to be something about "abusing copyrights" or something in the books somewhere.
I'm sure there are, but I think he's just being so sneaky about it they didn't realize at the time... so it's gonna take someone powerful enough like EA to make them pay attention and take it off him.
Mirror's Edge has already been released on other formats. If the Apple Store pulls it because of Langdell, all hell is going to break lose. I found this on Wikipedia: "In addition, Edge has been a plaintiff in lawsuits with New World Computing over their title Planet's Edge, Marvel Entertainment over their titles Cutting Edge, Double Edge, and Over the Edge, Sony Entertainment over their Playstation Edge, Edge Tech Corporation over their "The Edge" hardware, and John Coates over his EdgeGamers online community. Edge's website also claims that the movie The Edge was released under license from Edge Gaming, though it isn't clear what, if any, involvement Edge or Langdell had in creating or producing the movie."
I'd suggest going and reading through http://chaosedge.wordpress.com/ for a good idea of Langdell's lies and deceit. I notice with annoyance that Edgy (formerly Edge) has vanished from the UK app store and can only assume Langdell's being an arse again.
It's great that the one and only thing that truly unites us all is getting together and having a good ol' rant about a total cock
