Good news, zodttd has allowed me to release my full free version of noiz2sa. I have considerably improved it too with a big rewrite to make everything silky smooth on all levels and added the sound effects (no music yet though). I'll be releasing it for free to celebrate my release of lazrhog games' awesome new 3d shmup iPlutoid.
That's great news as, for the short while I was Jailbroken it was my favourite game. There is one thing I've always wondered though, how the hell do you pronounce Noiz2sa?
Well I may be wrong, but I've always pronounced it NOIZ - 2 - S - A however, I guess only Kenta Cho knows for sure .....
I've had rRootage for a long time and hadn't played in months. I just happened to get back into it the other night. Love this game! The controls are perfect! I'm really excited for anything from Lazrhog... has noiz2sa been submitted? is there any details anywhere on iPlutoid?
Yeah I never picked up Zod's version but sure liked the faded out pastel look of it. Hopefully that makes it into your version.
Nope. I changed all the colors ... Sorry. Maybe in an update. Might add accelerometer aiming and high scores if enough people download it. It already has multitouch aiming
Look out for an update to rrootage coming in the next month or so, with it getting much smoother and some sound added iplutoid is currently in submission with Apple, so could hit the AppStore anytime soon. Tried to do something very original and succeeded I think.
yes (for the moment anyway - I'll get rid of it after a bit) Yes, I'll make sure it works for rRootage ? Hmm, tricky. we'll talk more about it nearer the time. iPlutoid has a full local and online high score table with a name entry for each score.
So I found a PC version of noiz2sa and I gotta say: it's a little confusing... what are the little green things for? what does "slow down" do? for that matter... what do shields do in either this game or rrootage? you start with 10 shields at the beginning of the level... it increments up to 1000 ... but I die with one hit no matter the shield strength.
The little green things increment the shield when you collect them, close scrapes kill when you have no shield, otherwise decrease your shield. Direct hit is a kill regardless of shield I believe. There is no slowdown in my iPhone port
This topic is ancient, but I wanna bump it to raise awarness that rRootage isn't working on iOS4(or at least for me). I love this game, but now I can't play it, I know it's free but I hope for an update. And I loved your port of Noiz2sa, it's my favorite shooter on the idevice.
Why don't you make a new thread asking rather than bump a year old thread. It is part of the forum rules to use common sense.
