The Huntsmaster. Any other songs I should buy? I can't really tell because of iTunes' 30 second demo.

My personal favorite is Keelhauled. But you should probably listen to them on youtube first to see if you like them.

It's an awesome band. I havn't heard too much from them, mostly the song Resistance, but I think I'll start listening to them again. I've been listening to a lot of Alestorm lately, since for some reason it's extremely catchy, but I'll take a break and listen to that song again.

As I'm a classic rock guy, I recently bought Slash's solo record. In my opinion it's much better than the latest records of Kiss, Chickenfoot or Guns 'n Roses.
On the one hand there's always a different singer, but on the other hand Slash's guitar still connects all the songs well, so they combine to a great record. Really recommended.

Time to resurrect this thread again...

I just found this other great band, called Ensiferum. Listen to the song From Afar, and I'm sure that'll be enough to get interested in the band. I'm now listening to them a lot. Just check out that song and see what I mean.

The last CD I got was back in December of 09. I got Relapse: Refil by eminem. It's f***ing amazing. Anyone who likes eminem needs it.

Oh Eminem is just sick. Him, Jay-Z, Immortal Technique and B.o.B are the only active rappers I like nowadays.

I think Kanye is really talented too but he can be so egotistical it's hard to bear it. Kid Cudi shows some promise but I'm not a huge fan.

Yeah, eminem, jay-z, immortal technique. Top 3 active rappers IMO. Not crazy about B.o.B, he has a few ok songs but overall I'm not a huge fan.

I actually really like kanye. And for the record what he said at the VMAs was true, it was messed up to do that but he spoke the truth. On top of that he's rate pro at rapping.

bought the new Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street remaster - it is unbelievable. The new mix is great, you can hear so many of the undefined guitars layers now.

I've bought most of Apologies Are For the Weak by Miss May I. The last full album was Against Our Own Retreat by The Subtle Way.

Not yet, I'll check it out later.

And if you want a scream fest similar to The Pain of Separation by AILD, check out Crimson Falls. It woke me up as I was half asleep writing my essay last night.

Periphery's self titled album, Periphery. Heavy metal/Mathcore with singing. One of the best albums I've downloaded in a long while.

Hey, another band to listen to now. Man, I've heard of so many new bands since I started posting in this thread...

Btw, check out Between the Buried and Me, Dream Theater, and Cyinc, all great bands that are all pretty similar to another.

EDIT: Checking out the song Icarus Lives now, and it's great. Another band to add to my list of what to listen to now.

Reliving some '90s goodness, just got Puzzle by Dada. Awesome album, not a bad song in the bunch.

Yeah, I think I'm going to run through Between the Buried and Me's album Colors again... It's amazing... every song flows into another so that you can't even tell when one ends and the next begins. Same goes for The Great Misdirect, but Colors was just overall better. Anyone into metal should listen to this album at least once in their life.
