Yeah Daughtry is just plain good, even though hes become very mainstream.

On the other hand, my latest is the album DrukQs, by Aphex Twin. Its electronica/experimental. Anyone ever heard of him? Its really good music.

I have no problem with artist I like being mainstream, as long as they don't sell out and become worse. Fortunately Daughtry didn't do that. I love Life after you, and the whole album.

I think the last Album I got was Smoke and Mirrors by Lifehouse. I like their older stuff more but there were some very good songs on that album.

Never heard of the guy, nor has anyone else apparently, but there's a couple of good songs on here.

I havn't bought a CD in a while (last one might be Define the Great Line which I got for Christmas a couple of years ago) since I mostly listen to my music on Youtube, etc. The last CD I listened to from beginning to end was either Waking the Fallen by Avenged Sevenfold or Colors by Between the Buried and Me, since both are amazing, and my usualy albums to run through when I have a lot of time to sit and listen to music. I'm considering buying a CD of Waking the Fallen, just so that I could have a hard copy of the album to make transfer to other devices/computers easier.

I love that album just for the song Gimme Half. Definitely the best song they ever did.

Experience Jimi Hendrix, my first album by him. The one before it that isn't as cliched in the rock world was... Goodbye Logik by Madsen. Pretty good German rock band, not very big, though, which is unfortunate.

I'm listening to Assistant to the Regional Manager right now, and it's a great song, but for me it just doesn't compare to Gimme Half. That riff that plays throughout the whole song really makes the song for me.

Yeah, same here. I thought no one would have the same tastes as I do... and turns out I was wrong. Lots of people here like the same stuff I do. Gotta love it.

And as much as I love a combination of clean vocals and screaming, which is why my favorite bands are my favorites, Gimme Half was just such a good song that I didn't even mind. I don't know, it just sounded insane to me.

I think I heard one song but it wasn't too impressive. It was a while ago, so it could be someone else, but I just wasn't that into it. Give me a good song of theirs and I'll check it out.

I'm listening to The Closest Thing To Closure right now, and it's pretty sick! Nice mix of clean/screaming vocals, and they use my favorite type of screaming, being the higher-pitched screaming without it turning into a sort of squeal thing. I much prefer it over Cannibal Corpse-style Cookie Monster growling. The screaming almost reminds me of Zao, which I recommend you listen to if you havn't heard them yet. Apparently, they're one of the original metal bands. I'm not 100% sure, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but they're good anyway.
