How'd you like the Zombie EP? As you probably read, I loved it. It's a great direction for TDWP to take, and the subject matter only made it that much better. And as from what I've hear off the album, Shadows are Security is my favorite AILD album. It featured the most clean vocals (from what I understand), and my favorite song of theirs, Confined. Also, should I run through Waking the Fallen or Colors again next? I'm probably going to download every A7X album soon (well, except maybe Sounding the 7th Trumpet. Didn't care for that album as much, although it wasn't terrible), and I have yet to completely listen to their self-titled album or Nightmare. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've been listening to a ton of Zebrahead lately. I ended up listening to Lobotomy for Dummies about 40 times in one school day...
Just bought 'Knifes Out!' rough cuts EP man can't wait for their full length to come out been waiting forever.
I don't get why people didn't like the Self-Titled album. I think it's incredible so far, with songs like Critical Acclaim (with some awesome vocals by The Rev), Lost, A Little Piece of Heaven (more awesomeness from The Rev), and Scream. Aside from Dear God which turned out to be basically a country song, the album didn't have one lame song. And my friend just informed me that Escape the Fate has two new songs, and after listening, I can agree that both are insane.
Good point... Kinda overlooked that. Still, I have a hard time seeing most songs competing with A Little Piece of Heaven, although a few from Nightmare come close.
We talkin about A7x here? While Nightmare is the only post Waking the Fallen album I even come close to liking, Waking the Fallen could never be beaten. Anyways, the last CD I dowloaded was Skyfire's Spectral album. Awesome melo death band. Download em, especially if you like Dark Tranquility.
Holy shit another Therion fan! You know you just don't see enough of that. hahahaah. That album was great. Was kind of iffy on it cause I wasn't too much of a fan of Gothic Kabbalah, so I was hoping they wouldn't have gotten worse or anything, but they really came up on top with this one.
I just found out about the Escape the Fate songs, love the both, especially Massacre. The self titled is the weak link in my eyes, but I still enjoy it. A Little Peace of Heaven and Lost are great, though Nightmare and Welcome to the Family are some great ones too. I've been enjoying Scream -Ozzy Osbourne
Just curious, but who do you think was a better vocalist for ETF? As much as I'm really starting to like Craig's vocals, Ronnie definitely had the better voice. That said, I can't stop listening to Massacre. It's such an incredible song.
