What is the difference between fellow developer jealousy and criticism?

This comment by Simogo (devs behind Kosmo Spin and Bumpy Road) about Contre Jour brought this topic to mind:

So I found out about this game.

Would definately not call it a rip off of anything, but it's fair to assume that they've been a bit inspired by Bumpy Road, right (and even more so Cut the Rope, Angry Birds and maybe a bit of World of Goo as well...)

The music is, on the other hand a very shameful ripoff of a Yann Tiersen song from the Amelié soundtrack.

Kinda flattered by the bump in the ground mechanic. But I'm also a bit bummed out by the lack of originality in every single element of this game.
