Recently I've seen ton of music quiz apps, but which one should I get? Price doesn't matter because you get what you pay for. Thanks
I've been wanting to try out buzzer music quiz, looks fun for 99 cents. It's questions and gameplay are based on your library that's on your iPhone/iTouch.
I agree 100%. Music IQ is a very good game and the developer has said that they will add many updates to it.
I didn´t like that kind of games but I got Music IQ when it was free and I am now playing it a lot, I like the quickplay mode to try to answer 10 songs. Is a nice game to play with headphones and listen random music while trying to guess the title. The music sounds ingame, that way you can´t double tap home button to see the song name
I tested Music IQ, DJ Jones and Music Trivia (got promos for the later two and got Music IQ while it was free). I've reported my findings in those threads: Music IQ DJ Jones compared to Music IQ Music Trivia So in my list they are like: 1st place: Music Trivia Shortly followed by Music IQ (although I haven't had time to test the new update!) Way behind: DJ Jones
BUZZER! hands down! I can't understand why everyone is talking about MUSIC IQ? Has anyone played BUZZER! Music Quiz? seriously this is the best music game out there, if not one of the best APP's on the whole store!!! I don't normally give 5 star ratings, but this one definitely deserves it. The different rounds makes this 100% better than any other quizzes!
Music Trivia I just released an update to Music Trivia. I'm going to do an "official post" about it with more promo codes tomorrow, but in the meantime the first five people to PM me can have free promo codes. New features in version 1.1 -- based on Crypton's excellent feedback. =) -Customization: You can now limit the game to one or more artists/albums/playlists/genres/etc. via the new "Customize" button on the game screen. This is perfect for testing your knowledge of your favorite artists! -Songs now start at a random point in the track, rather than from the beginning. (However, if you prefer to have them start at the beginning, there is a new option for this.) -More colorful interface plus other minor interface tweaks. -Updated icon. -Brighter screen flashes to indicate answer correctness. -Fixed bug which kept some achievements from showing up on the list. Lol, for sure. Only 1 post... Suspicious. My votes for Music IQ. I got it when it was free. I also bought Jukebox. Music IQ has a super attractive interface, and plays amazingly. Jukebox is nice too, it has a few more game features, but has a slightly worse interface, and plays much worse.
another music iq vote since the interface is nice but ive only tried a couple music quiz apps question though, does buzzer ask questions like who the artist is and all that?
Seriously, i have to back that guy up. I have played MusicIQ, Music Library Quiz and Buzzer and out of those three, Buzzer is the most diverse and made the most fun. MusicIQ is good and pretty and everything, but Buzzer offers way more different types of questions. Music Library Quiz is not bad, but out of the three it's the less polished, but even Music Library Quiz offers more diversity in questions. So i'd say: 1) Buzzer - Looks 4/5 - Questions 5/5 2) MusicIQ - Looks 5/5 - Questions 3/5 3) Music Library Quiz - Looks 2/5 - Questions 4/5 And before something comes up: NO! I am not in any way affiliated with any of these apps. EDIT: @zlibd about Buzzer: 1: Guess the Intro 2: Guess the Album 3: Guess the Album Artwork 4: Guess the Genre 5: Guess the Artist 6: Guess the Association 7: Random Question (mixture of the above) 4 game modes are available depending on your mood: - Short Game : 3 questions of each round - Medium Game : 6 questions of each round - Long Game : 9 questions of each round - Custom Game : You choose which rounds and how many of each
