Off the top of my head:

    Modern Combat
    NOVA (when it's released)
    Wolfenstein
    Doom Classic
Doom Resurrection (it's more of a rail shooter though)
Hill Billy (you can try the lite version out, though this game hasn't been updated in awhile)
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies
    Black Shades

    Doing nothing of importance.

    Ok, let's see...

Terminator Salvation (just bought for a buck. Get it today)
    Modern Combat: Sandstorm
    Doom Classic
    Doom Resurrection
Hill Billy (it doesn't have enough content, but it was fun)
Prey Invasion (it's not as bad as everyone says. Just bad controls)
Duke Nukem 3d (I don't have this one, but if the controls are like Prey's, they're bad)
    Eliminate (it's free!)
Black Shades (get the freeware PC/Mac version. It's $0.99 on the appstore)
If you want to consider Resident Evil 4 a third person shooter, go ahead.
    Wolfenstein 3D
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies (don't worry about the price tag. It's that good)

Those are all the ones that stood a chance and were at least somewhat worth it.

Oh wow, I'm not the only one who plays Black Shades around here. Surprisingly good for a buck.

Yeah it's pretty awesome, though it hasn't gotten any updates with new levels or new psychic abilities. I also wish it had a freeplay mode where you could do whatever you wanted.

It got to be the giant big tree.

    //Online Multiplayer
Call of Duty (fun,co-op, but can be frustrating due to leavers and the inability to communicate)
Eliminate (quake style, but people who spend money have the edge)

    //Offline
Modern Combat: Sandstorm (better than terminator, others)

Black Shades is really one of those underappreciated classics, right up there with games like TNA Wrestling. They never recieved much attention, but they're really fun games.

    At the moment:

    #1 online = COD: Zombies

    #1 singleplayer = MC: Sandstorm

    In the near Future:

#1 online = Nova, MC: Sandstom, COD: Zombies

    #1 singleplayer = ? Errr, DOOM?

Basically, just make sure that you have COD: Zombies, MC: Sandstorm and NOVA on your iPhone, or you will SUFFER.

COD and Eliminate for sure. Both of those are great, don't let the price of either one deter you.

I gonna be honest here. I didn't find MC:S to be as fun as BIA. Maybe the novelty of BIA early in the appstore was a factor, but MC:S didn't really do it for me. MC:S has great graphics and controls, but it just didn't click with me.

Sandstorm is ok. Eliminate has horrible controls, but it's free, so the only thing you have to lose is time.
Unfortunately those are the only two I can think of that are good FPS. A handheld device just isn't suitable for FPS games.

It's ok, until you see enemies. Then it lags like a Jamaican trying to wrap a bong hose around a politician.
