Revolt. Atmospheric, nice graphics, the sound is great ( I mean, the footsteps are too loud, but the stereo imaging is great so you can tell where enemies are approaching from ). Let's see... the weapons own, the levels are big and the difficulty is good - as long as you don't upgrade too much and make it too easy. Not overly replayable, but a solid recommend. You'll surely have some laughs shooting the destructables just as enemies go past.
I totally agree... except with 20 survival maps and a lights out mode I dont see how it's "Not overly replayable..." unless you mean the story mode.
Mushihimesama Bug Panic is awesome. a little different than the rest but absolutly brilliant and highly recommended. a lite just came out. check it out.
If you have an iPad, RoboKill is a game that I have just been playing for a couple of upgrades. Top down dual stick with tons of upgrades, and something like 400 levels or something ridiculous like that.... Great controls, and some nice upgrades coming (like moveable controls).
Easy - Solomon's Keep, great controls, tons of depth, I played this game longer than most fully priced console games. The updates also get me to come back. It's awesome. There is so much here: great action, many sorts of weapons, character growth, random environments, many types of enemies, bosses, the goodness here is insane. I think most people don't mention it is because they didn't play it as it never got the press it deserved. Maybe it's because the game was self published. I really don't understand why people love MiniGore which feels flat with no barriers, lack of interesting weapons, or any sort of strategy, on my 3rd run or so I was already bored; Age of Zombies is ok but also repetitive fast; iDracula is nice but not more than that; Meteor Blitz if pretty cool and I would rank it as my runner up but I'd rather play Super Stardust HD, which it is strongly influenced from.
