Saucelifter My favorite game on the app store. Truly phenomenal and addicting. Hard as hell though, requires a bit of practice, but, once you get the hang of it, you'll love every minute of it. It also has a lite version if you wanna try it out. Another good game, if that doesn't interest you. I Dig It is a great game too for 99 cents. This one's quite addicting, requires some strategy, and is hard as hell. I have played it a good hour and a half straight.
If you have all of the apps featured on TA, chances are you have everything that could be considered "hands down the BEST game [...] for 99 cents"...
check out Go Go Rescue Squad then. It's a puzzle/strategy/platformer sort of like Shift but you play as a Firefighter and have to get everyone to the exit. Each trapped character has different characteristics that you have to take into acount when planning your escape. Albie gave it a 5 star review on the User reviews page.
wow I just played the saucelifter demo and bought the full version. I think thats the fastest I've ever gone from demo to ful, LOL. I Dig it looks cool but it costs $2.99
+1 for Flight Control. I like many of the games mentioned above, but if I had a brand new iPod Touch and only 99 cents to spend, Flight Control is the game I would buy without any hesitation.
Not the best, but recommended: Connected Perfect Balance: Harmony Perfect Balance: Inferno NineGaps (not really strategy, but a good randomly generated arithmetic/logic puzzle)
yeah does anyone have an opinion on parachute panic? I haven't played it yet but the graphics look good
I think there's a whole thread about this. But, personally, I love it. The graphics, sound effects and music are amazing. Not in an OMGfanboySQUEEE kind of way, but in a "it's obvious how much care and consideration went into this small title" way. Gameplay is challenging. I see lots of requests to make it easier, but I hope they don't. It's more fun trying to improve your score this way. I didn't mention it in this thread because the OP specified he wanted puzzles. But if you are remotely interested, I say pick it up now!
Yeah, Ball Fill just now had a price drop to free. Oh, and another free game is Atoms. Its pretty good.
Hi, I'm the Saucelifter developer... are you sure it's $2.99? I've checked all of the accounts and everything still says it's $0.99 cents here (as it should be!) Thanks for buying it BTW.
