I don't know about the RebelSerpent, but with the RebelTouch it has a silicone case thingy and plastic skeleton thingy so it helps with the sliding. But the silicone case thingy is very hard so it won't get stuck in a pocket. By the way, I call them thingies because I don't know what they're exactly called. :p

    It looks pretty nice. :)

Agent18 from the apple store, i had one for my first gen ipod touch and loved it. I used to jog with it on the treadmill and once in awhile i'd accidentally hit the ear phone cord with my hand and knock the unit down on the ground. Musta did that about a dozen times over the span of about 2-3 months. It saved my unit everytime, no scratches, no dings and everything worked perfectly. I ended up selling it about a month later to buy a mac mini and it was still flawless, no scratches, fingerprints or anything. Got pretty much what i paid for it back which went twords the mini. About 2 months after i got rid of it they launched the app store and finally about a month ago i just couldn't resist. So once i had it in possession i bought the agent18 case again, and its just as good as the one i had for my first ipod touch. I will swear by them, they've done me well. They are about $30 + shipping but its worth every penny. I've tried a few other cases and none of them are as durable or feel quite right. The agent18 case is really durable and is not made with brittle plastic like the griffen cases are. Also they come with a special dock adapter so you don't have to remove the case when docking or charging the unit. All the buttons are easily accessable without removing the case. I could not ask for a better case. Highly recommended!

I still have my slimcase agent18 on my iPhone and it's gone through:
3 drops down a staircase, all on the same night, 5 - 6 drops on asphalt, approximately 1,000,000 drops on other things. My case hasn't even shown a scratch.

Damn, I never knew there were so many fine cases.
I use some two dollar one I ordered off some Chinese website, and it's starting to rip.
Although I do plan on getting an iPhone 3Gs, so I'll probably buy a quality case for that.

Get this one, it is a tried and true iPhone saver:

I'm getting either a clouds or mixtape agent18 case next (same thing, different design, plus limited edition)

Yeah the plastic skeleton thingy is the reason I opted to get it. It seems like that will help with it not getting stuck. 'thingies' works for me too :)
