I have the Switch Easy Rebel Serpent and it comes with 2 screen shields, video stand, dock adapter and the 3rd pin Protector. It doesnt add much bulk and gives it much more grip and will fit in a leather case. I have ordered one more from iFanatic it's called Gamefacez iPod case made from silicone.
shades ipod touch case! weeee i just got this shades case. pretty cool.... http://www.shadescases.com/store/shades_touch_2G.html
RebelTouch Black (but I have the red spike on most of the time). red spike (it was an additional $4 or so):
I use the one of the top quality Seidio cases, don't remember exactly what model it was, but I think it would cost around $30-40USD plus tax, I got it for ¥90. It makes my phone practically invincible against minor hits or scratches.
I'm rockin the Rebel Touch, one of the two you mentioned in the beginning. It's a really good case, along with the Rebel I'd recommend the Neo Touch, also by Switcheasy. REBEL TOUCH NEO TOUCH
I use a BELKIN case, I dropped my iPod in a hotel in D.C. and it protected it (I dropped it on the steps, which were concrete)
I have an iluv case it works against scratches but not against hitting the ground I dropped mine a foot off the ground and chipped the power button
The Switcheasy Rebel touch caught my eye and I just ordered one of those! They seem to have very impressive features on the website and it looks really cool, hope it ships soon.
For me I have a cloth sunglasses case that I made the same size as my ipod. I don't have a screen guard on it, and I've had it for 10 months, and no scratches at all! One of the best cases out there.
I've got the blue Rebel Touch case, and yes... it's awesome. No problems whatsoever, worth every penny.
cases are a waste of money. I had a case, and dropped my phone on concrete from about 4 feet up and the vibrator inside broke. Cases do absolutely nothing except increase the girth of the device in your pocket. And if your argument is that it prevents scratches and stuff, I disagree there as well. I've had about 3 different cases, and whenever I take them off, dust/dirt/scratches from the case!
I have a Mophie Juicepack Air. Costs $80 from apple store. As a charger it works well and is less bulky than some of the others out there. However I don't think it would protect well against a drop so I use a different case 95% of the time and take the Mophie when I think I'll need it. My everyday case is a Griffin 2-piece case. It's basically a hard shell with leather on the outside. It fits snugly, is not very bulky, and there is just enough leather to act as padding in case you drop it. Like it very much but after extended use the leather starts to peel off. I'm on my second of these now.
